Rector: Barry Kubler

Parish Secretary: Natasha Tatum, serving in this capacity since March, 2002, coordinates all activities and provides the ongoing communications networking.

Christian Education Director: Millie Hart

Musical Director: Deborah Skillman, a retired teacher, has served St. Philip’s for more than 20 years as its organist and director of the adult and youth choirs.

A special pastoral team: St. Philip’s Church is blessed by having four retired priests and a deacon, who minister to the rector and members as advisors and share in the worship and related ministries. They are:

  • The Rev. Robert Childs (Presbyterian Church)
  • The Rev. Louis Melcher (Episcopal Church)
  • The Rev. David Williams (Episcopal Church)
  • The Rev. Deacon Henrietta Williams (Episcopal Church)
  • The Rev. Robert Eggenschiller (Episcopal Church)

Adult Study: From time to time, the Rector, or those appointed by him, will offer special study of the Bible and related materials.

Counseling: The Rector is available for private and confidential counseling with members of this household. There is also assistance provided by the Presbyterian Counseling Center, with a fee.

Bishop’s Visitation: This usually occurs once a year, at which time the Bishop will lead our worship and also administer one or more of the following: Confirmation, Reception from another communion, or the reaffirmation of the vows made at the Baptism.

Entering into Membership: At your request, we will contact your former congregation for a Letter of Transfer.

Memorial Garden: The cremains of church members and families may be buried in our Memorial Garden on the side of the Chapel of the Cross, with a cost per plot of $250.

Newsletter: The Philippian is our newsletter, which is published once a month and features information pertaining to the life and work in the parish. E-mail is the best way to transmit information to the appropriate committee member (see the following list to find the editorial staff person and his/her area of coverage):
