Mission Statement – The mission of St. Philip's is to bring Christ to life in our lives and minister to the world in His name.
Vision - The vision for St. Philip’s is to grow: in unity, in diversity and in the Spirit of Christ.

St. Philip’s is a dynamic, growing parish serving seven thriving coastal communities in the Diocese of East Carolina. Visit our History page to learn more about how we came to be and our parish home today.

Our parish family comprises people young and old, with roots in our state and elsewhere. In fact, the majority of our members joined us in recent years. But more than anything, St. Philip’s is a magnet for people who seek involvement in community and ministry as well as spiritual growth. And it seems that no matter how we grow, our family members retain a closeness with each other that continually strengthens our mission.

We strive to be a leader in community and ecumenical outreach. We offer myriad opportunities for members to come together, help each other and serve the greater community.

And as our membership expands, we have a stronger focus on Youth. We seek to ensure that our young members are spiritually enriched as they experience the rewards of love for one another and dedication to their community.
